The Cafe Femenino Foundation is kicking off an exciting new fundraising campaign, “Coffee Can.” Companies and individuals around the world can participate in making a positive difference in the lives of women and families by participating in Coffee Can.
Funds donated through this campaign will go to fulfill grant requests for projects supporting women and families for the 2008 year.
Our goal is to raise $100,000.
In the last two years the Cafe Femenino Foundation has supported the women and children in coffee growing communities by responding to grant requests totalling $29,097!
In 2006 the Cafe Femenino Foundation funded grants for the following: Leadership Training; Kitchen Remodel Project; Seed Program; Breeding Program and Touch of Christmas. Total for 2006 was just under $10,000 in grants funded.
Our 2005 grants were for Tsunami relief, Hurricane Stan relief, mudslide relief, and a leadership training grant for women coffee producers. Total for 2005 was just over $20k in grants funded.
